I agree that we are loosing track of many things used by our elders.

Lots of useful information. What is the equivalent of QUINOA which is very much publicized in US. Is it available in India?

the quinoa is similar to our small millets rice – Kodo, Little, Proso, Barnyard and Foxtail millets rice are all equally good. It is unfortunate that we are still to recognise the nutritional significance of these forgotten grains used by our elders. We have been using these grains for the past 10 years, millets rice are a wonderful addition to our plate. They are very easy to cook.
