I am not qualified to give personal advice on an individual’s diets, so please do not take my word with out consulting your medical advisor / dietician / doctor.
Millets are high fibre cereals and are used in diets that help people reduce weight. As far as I know they do not help people gain weight.
Please note that this is true of millets in their staple forms – rice, rava and flour without any additives. This does not apply to the many processed foods that claim to be millet based – one would have to see their composition to comment on their nutritional value.
Your doctor / dietician or medical advisor can give you better advise based on your particular situation.
