1 cup korra (foxtail millet) or sama (little millet)
2 cups water
Cook the millet in water just as you would cook rice. Serve with vegetables, dal etc

Can you please let me know where I can buy Sama in bulk in Bangalore. I called Jaivik Mall but they don’t keep stock anymore.
Thanks

for millet rice do they soak them in water and then use the soaking water for cooking? how long do they soak for if yes?
Millet rice has been dehusked and does not require soaking.
is it because in order to dehusk millet they have to soak it first, so it is already soaked that is why no need to soak again?
there is no need to soak the millet grain to dehusk, we need to dry the grain. If you soak the grain it will get spoiled. For parboiling of the grain – there is a different process. It is also similar to paddy.
I cooked samai like rice but it was husky. Can’t eat. How to remove the husk
can i take little millet, foxtail millet and broken wheat mixed together in place of rice everyday?
